Comments:
I've not driven the most up to date cars but
my new Nissan Almera has unlike previous cars
power steering and corners well using Bridgestone
tyres it also drives happily at 100 mile an
hour on motorways. When I first bought it
I found the bonnet to be really high up so
I could see less of the road in front than
in previous cars (I'm pretty tall as well)
so I don't know how a smaller person would
find it.
The inside of the Almera is quite good few
hiding places for sunglasses and drinks carrier,
three settings for headlights and cigarette
lighters rear and front, the interior decor
looks pretty standard but I suppose for the
price its ok.
The only thing that does need mentioning is
when when you try to accelerate in high gears
its not very responsive compared to some lesser
cc cars I have driven in the past, but all
in all its a pretty good car and suits my
needs, the petrol tanks pretty big and holds
enough for 400/500 miles depends how you drive.
The boot has quite a bit of space and has
cargo nets on both sides to keep things like
screenwash, oil and tow ropes in place, which
is quite handy.
The NATS security is also really good (the
ignition key has a chip in it) without the
key the car will never start, I just replaced
the spare key and it wasn't cheap but its
a pretty good feature to have.
